I'm still trying to decide how to go about my in-car-internet-media-solution and I'm currently torn between the following three options, the first two of which involve using the car's own built in touchscreen.

1) Get myself a carputer and hook it up to the touchscreen

2) Set up a laptop dock for my TZ in the glove box and hook the dock up to the touchscreen

3) Get my hands on a MID (something like the Viliv x70 due some time this year) and set up a mount coming out of one of the cupholders

Any ideas? Anyone tried any of the above? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Please also note that I will unfortunately have to 'outsource' any work (1 and 2) as my electrical skills are somewhat minimal...
