The RR looks a whole lot better than the new BMW 7 series that will no doubt donate a lot of parts to it. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Apparantly 20% of the 'Body in white' is shared with the new 7, and the engine is a BMW V12 too.

I also read that they had to use a V12 as a twin turbo V8 just wouldn't have cut it in China Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award

Wonder if they will master it, unlike Bentley with the donated parts from Audi.

The last thing I would want is pay RR money, but end up in a glorified BMW...........it does not cut the mustard IMO. I know cross platform etc exists (lets face it, we all know this, having Mondeo side mirror switchgear ), but if you pay top dollar, you should get exclusive bits and bobs, not donated hand me downs from a 7 series. I've read that it will be normally aspirated but tuned for a more RR type of engine profile. So I read that as torqued up to the max but they are also trying to pitch this one as a bit more of a driver focussed car. Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award
