Hi Chaps,

Bought a V6 yesterday, and have been putting it through its paces ever since.
Strangely, each time I`ve been out, I have returned with mild motion sickness...
Not a good sign for my daily 2 hr commute

Has anyone else found this ? or is it just me ? or could it be a problem with the suspension / wheels ?

The car is lovely to drive, but seems to rock at the slightest bump/dip in the road...

I have originally thought (rightly or wrongly) that the ride was air cushioned and sublime, hardly ever noticing a bump/dip.. having read many reviews etc.

Any advice or views would be most appreciated.

Hopefully I won`t have to add a Dramamine to my morning routine

Have you checked that all the windows and the boot sections are fully closed and the seals are good? You could be drawing exhaust fumes into the car. There are a few people who cannot travel in the gas suspended Citroens because the magic carpet ride gives them motion sickness. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

how weird - met a new member yesterday at the meet (Bob.) and he was have a similar experience

Andrew, if the car is used, maybe the dampers (shocks) need replacing.

One good thing (the only good thing?) about the dynamic response system is that it keeps the car flat during fast corners.....

Leo he is driving a V6 so I am not sure whether he has DRS.

And Andrew I might have a solution for you.. It is called "Travelia", we use it a lot and it is brilliant for preventing sickness on all means of transport. The ones with small children might know it...

i don't see what this has to do with sea sickness (NWS)

I have not searched that word on youtube before... Good one mate

check wheel balance. if out of balance by small amount (i.e. not enough to cause vibration you can feel through the wheel) the subtle movement in the wheels/body can cause a motion sickness type feeling, exagerated in the RRS because you are sat up high

Yeah it`s a 3yr old, will add the shocks to my list of possible suspect, cheers

I came from a 2002 Toyota Celica, so that could also be added to the mix

The celica was alot closer to the ground and was very sharp/firm, I guess I am now suffering from altitude sickness
