New to the Forum - thinking of getting one.....

Hello all.

Thinking of getting a RRS TDV8 3.6
Can anyone please let me know what is a reasonable expectation for fuel economy on one of these beasties?

I know you rarely get what the manufacturer claims

Thanks

I get anywhere between 22-24 average with a combination of motorway/city/country roads and I tend to drive in a spirited way if you know what I mean!

I have always used supermarket fuel but just put my first tank of BP ultimate in.... will see how it compares.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I only use Shell normal or BP normal Diesel and get 26-28 in normal fast A road driving and anything up to 33 on a long motorway haul - I don't commute in the car so it doesn't get stuck in town traffic, also my nearest town is not a big city so I don't often drive in heavy stop/start traffic. Worst I have ever seen on my TDv8 was 19mpg after taking for a cobweb blowing out session for the car and the driver. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Thanks ST Thumbs Up

Simon,

We'd be glad to assist, and can certainly look after everything (bar you actually collecting the vehicle) over the phone and via email/scanner etc etc.

I am out of the office tomorrow and Saturday, therfore if you need to chat to someone then speak to one of the Sales Specialists on 0208 992 2299 and mention that you are a forum member and that you are responding to a post that I left.

James Thumbs Up

Welcome abroad, Simon.

I think your nearest dealer is Perrys Rocar Moores Land Rover - they are forum sponsor in here, it may be a worth to give them a call. Just PM Perrys and they will look after you.

But Charles Hurst park Royal/Perrys/Kam will be happy to assist you as they are the best people to speak to.

Good luck with your search. Thumbs Up
