The TDv6 has an 85litre tank IIRC, same as the Tdv8, so you are looking at up to £75/80 to fill as you cannot get the last 10 litres out of the tank.

Driving around Central Scotland, sometimes pretty fast, I get 400-500 miles out of a tank. I don't usually let it drop below 1/4 tank before refuelling. I can go 10-12 days without filling up even with running the car to Stirling and back from here every day (32 miles round trip). 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Before you do K2, you have a PM from me. From £50 of diesel you should be getting closer to 300 miles 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Reading between the lines I don't think he has. As K2 lives not far from me I'm meeting up with him at the weekend and will see if I can sort out some of his concerns. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I get just over 28 mpg in my MY09 TDV6 - I also got just over 27 mpg in a Disco 3 loaner over the last week and a half. I've been mad for flipping years, absolutely years, over the edge for yonks.

The other thing is to stop using supermarket filling stations and use one of the major brands, I've found the 1p per litre extra paid is more than made up for by the extra few miles per tankful I'm getting. I would like to try one of the V-Max or Ultimate diesel fuels but there are hardly any outlets selling them in this part of Central Scotland. Maybe the Scots are too tight to spend the extra 3-4p per litre that it costs so it isn't worth filling stations stocking them............................. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Wales 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

Baxc

We were on our way to Eurodisney so it was mostly motorway and around 70 to 80 Mph. Had same Mpg on a trip to Holland again mostly motorway 70 to 80 Mph traffic permitting.

K2WDF

I've just filled up with BP ultimate diesel and off to North Wales tomorrow to see my parents. Will be surprised if I don't get about 550 miles out of the tank. Ours is a 2006 and has about 25k.
