Tim - thats quite normal for PH in my experience - most threads involve and argument or disagreement of sorts |

Yes that poor naive idiot RobbyJ, oh wait, that’s me! I just couldn’t help myself but wow there is no love for the RRS over there. I tried even to be conservative with my love for the RRS but still took a battering. It’s a shame what Piston Heads has become, it used to be a great forum and is run by a great bloke |

About 5 years ago the LRUKForums also degenerated into the same sort of pointless drivel on the "General section" - the forum had (and s still have) some of the best technical pages for Land Rovers of all types on the web and was a great resource. The bitching got so bad, even between the moderators, that the owner threatened to shut it down. In the end a group of the biggest strirrers of the lot took it over, they lost 75% of the membership overnight and ended up selling the site to some real enthusiasts. Fortunately it has resurrected itself again as being a really good forum to go to for techie info about older Landies - RRS,D3,FFRR,Def2 and Freel2 have taken up the slack for the modern Land Rovers which are less well catered for over on LRUKForums.

Good work. That tool needed a public shaming for what he did to that poor, innocent Sport! Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award

I was refering to the Subaru Impreza owners club I was a member of in my youth! Those guys were full on nerds! (RobbyJ sits down to await a Scooby backlash ) Of course all the guys on here are fine gentlemen in outstanding physical and mental condition and not in the least nerdy |
