RRsport 20" V SPoke alloys x4 for sale

HI All i am selling a set of 4x 20" V spoke super charged alloys they are in good condition but one of the wheels does have a couple of kerbing marks other than that the tyres have a good 20K left on them and are Goodyear 275/50/20. Unfortunatley i have now sold my RR sport so they are surplus to requirements.

I am looking for about £600 for the set of 4 but you would have to collect in person due to the size and weight.

I am in the Wigan area if you wish to collect them. Discovery TD5 commercial (gone)

cheers jf, I suspected that might be the answer. So do you think they actually remove it from the base models or is it hidden behind the plastic storage tray thing?

Sadly its just not there Simon. No wiring or anything. I was aware of this before taking delivery but alas not before I had ordered and paid my deposit.

Its mildly annoying not having mp3 capability for the first time in about 4 years but i think I will likely get an fm tuner gadget and hope that works well enough. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

I've already been down that road myself with a half decent unit made by Belkin. The sound really is pretty poor and probably best to save your money.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Have you thought about getting the aux socket and lead from a wrecked SE/HSE/HST? They are available (wrecked RRS's that is!) if you search using "Land Rover Breakers" in Google - Equicar comes to mind and they have 2 S/C's being broken at the moment that at least 2 people from here have managed to get replacements for broken bits from. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

aux socket

if you remove the head unit and look at the top LH corner of the unit you will see a multi pin socket. (Red n Black wires) That is the auxillary socket used to integrate a wired phone input for a hands free kit.

I removed the one from the wifeys car to fit to my disco 3 commercial as this didnt have the aux wiring either.

It takes about 30mins to do the job all you need to do is go to your local car hifi shop or mobile phone installer and they will have the plug that fits the socket. Then go to maplins and get a standard jack plug heaphone socket costs about £4.50 and wire the two together.

You can now use the aux button to get to listen your mp3 player. I use my iphone as an ipod through this lead and it sounds great. and its a fraction of the cost of the Landrover Ipod kit.

I got the info on how to do it off the Disco3 forum there are pics and tutorials on there on how to do it just do a search and i am sure you will find it.

Congrats on the sale. Ebay didn't accept my bid with one minute to go which would have won the wheels for me - my missus is not too happy with ebay but hey ho.

On to bidding on the individual wheels now - should be more interesting!!!! Smile WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award
