Just buy a 3.5mm jackplug male both ends cable from Tesco for £8 (bigger outlets only). Fits the aux socket at the rear of the cubby box and plugs straight into ipod. Ipod plays really well through the car's stereo and volume control on car works. Still need to use the Ipods own controls for other things though. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

IIRC it is at the back of the cubby box, near to the rear seat heater controls and the rear ashtray/ciggy lighter. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Or you could buy two 3.5mm plugs, 1 metre cable and make it. It will cost you about 0.50 pounds RANGE ROVER, MORE THAN A CAR, LESS THAN A KITKAT |

If money's truly flexible, call nav-TV. They have a combo Nav-TV/Alpine module that integrates the iPod into the touchscreen, see thread here: http://rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic12998.html |
