Adaptive headlights, LOGIC 7 upgrade

Hi All,

I have a RRS SE with BI-XENON front lighting, HI ICE PACK (harman/kardon audio system - 8 speakers, passive sub-woofer...). I want to upgrade BI-XENON headlights to ADAPTIVE BI-XENON headlights, audio system from HI ICE PACK to PREMIUM ICE PACK (13 speakers, active sub-woofer...).

Can anyone help me?

Thanks all.

Mate, I am affraid that you have missed your chance to realise this upgrade when ordering the car... Sad
Now you can either live with what you have or upgrade the whole car.

Yes, i had the same problem: ordered my car with premium ice, got it with high audio. I wanted that landrover upgrade it but they said (sit down) it would cost over 17.000 euro´s! (if they take the new parts).

so i got an new car Smile

but now i just have the bi xenon headlights. i also wanted to upgrade it with adaptive headlights. i heard it could cost over 5000,- EUR´s.

I thinks is really the best way to give your car back and buy an new one. Or perhaps you buy an crashed car with this components and change it. RRS TDV8 Modelyear 2009 with some modifications.

Regarding the adaptive headlights, you aren't missing anything. They may be worth 50 EUR, at best.

At my "old" car i found it cool when i have driven left than i saw in the turn.. very nice for example in hungary where you didn´t find street lighting´s in much streets. i miss this very. i just have them when i activate the indicators. But its cooler when i just move the steering wheel Smile RRS TDV8 Modelyear 2009 with some modifications.

Because the benefit of those swiveling headlights is really marginal in real world driving, maybe you gain a few extra degrees of light left or right, but nothing even remotely as spectacular - or useful - as those commercials on TV would have you believe... You know, the family of cute little white rabbits crossing the street at night just around a corner of a desolate country road? Well, you will run over them poor little bastards with or without AH. Laughing The swiveling mechanism introduces unwanted (and noticeable) vibrations of the whole beam pattern over broken pavement. It doesn't bother me, but other people have compared the "shaky" lights to a riced-up Honda Civic, and I imagine oncoming traffic doesn't much care for that, either. And the added complexity, dedicated electronic module, and moving parts only increase the chance of something very expensive breaking down the road. It's overhyped technology and I think most luxury manufacturers implement it only because the other guys have it.
