That's bad news. I thought that all the system that LR has on its cars where capable enough to cope with ice. I only believed as a problem the heavy snow that make a wall in front of the car or the height of the snow that the air suspension cannot overcome. |

I don't disagree but the LR campaign shows Land Rovers climbing hills on ice using the "sophisticated" terrain response system. Of course in real life as you described things may be different (and embarrassing) BTW my Panda 4x4 (with snow tires) with less sophisticated system (and 1.5 tons less weight!!) climbed steeper hills on ice last winter!!! |
