How deep was the water? I'd be amazed if wading would cause this but then we are talking about the RRS! 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

Mine does this after every fording or deep puddle - checked the fuel filter, but no water drained out. Dealer can't find anything wrong. I suspect the wiring harness to the sensor, as it looks a little "crimped", will ask at next service. The sensor and filter are located next to the rear axle so not very high at all! Cheers Disco, this is what I thought... It's fine this morning but we will see when the next wave of rain hits us this pm.. RRS gone Audi SQ5...Gone Audi Q7 S-Line 240 3.0TDI Gone Audi A6 Allroad Sport 270 3.0TDI |

I think that you will find it on the right hand side of the vehicle under a cover plate to the rear of the engine, its accessed from under the car. OOps just noticed that yours is a V8, not sure about that, I retract my statement.
