Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White
TDv8 Depreciation first year

Assuming such a lovely would lose most of its value in the first 12 months, and i have to make a decision tomorrow on whether to refinance the TDv6 for the next 3 years or go with a new TDv8, does anyone know in the current climate what the likely value would be in 12 months time Question

knowing i could (distinct possibly) get shipped off to Singapore in the coming 12 months, the pocket is ruling the heart on this

My dealership does not offer it or have not to me anyhow Wink No real buy/hand back or Guaranteed value scheme here with LR unless its in PX for a new vehicle..

If i went through a novated lease scheme, the dealership would load all the costs back on to the lease company.. so could end up more in the end.. its a pre-tax salary sacrifice vs tax allowance claw back balance ..

Decision is made, the six pot is staying.. and after a recommendation from 2nd Rower, i may get it chipped as it is out of manufacturers warranty in the next few months

On the TDv8, depreciation looks very hairy, coupled with the potential finance settlement figure in 12 months time if i ship out to SE Asia for a few years

The current one will be semi-retired if we move to Singers, it will be sent to the Queensland estate to be used as the holiday run around, only of course when we are back in country... Possible attractive 4 bed /3 bath with Pool holiday rental coming up towards the end of the year in the Whitsundays, with use of RRS (only for forum members of course) as a runaround Whistle Another Pommie Bar Steward down under
