Does this make me a toss pot?

I got a nice supercharged badge for my hse diesel off fleabay. Along with my exhaust tips my mota now looks like a charger from the rear. The question is, does this make me a wan Censored r?

One of my cheecky lads at work says it does (no pay rise this review I reckon)...

Must admit it used to annoy me when I had my M cars and somebody stuck a badge on a 318 or something....And now Ive gone and made a similar mod……

Thanks a lot VA, love u too.

Yes, yes it IS the former. (I also have the black oval ones too tho so does that limit the toss factor at all?)

When I had my M5, seeing blokes with 525's with an M badge on (normally on the wrong side as well) plus some nasty pretend quad exhausts, made me angry but also pity them, that they thought it was going to fool anyone???? Laughing

I also know someone from this forum who did the same thing and used to goad me about it, however I was happy in the knowledge I had the real thing and not a diesel. Very Happy

I think the Supercharged badge is a step too far, everyone swapped the grille and vents and wheels. Go with your heart and save face!

An HSE is still a tremendous car that MANY people aspire to but will never have, there's no shame in having one, but pretending its something that is isn't is a bit sad in my opinion! L319 D4 HSE

Reminds me of the days when you saw 1.3 four door Escorts going around with a Cossie wing on the back Rolling with laughter Which usually didn't fit right either Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Way back in the day I had a two door Golf Diesel, on which I had everything from the GTi.

Wheels, stripes, black around rear window, red around the grille. But I stopped short of putting on the GTi badges.

Instead I was honest & left the Diesel badge on the back & on the front grille.

Much the same as I’ve done with the RRS. SC Grille / Vents, Black LR badges & wheel centres & soon the Stormers. But not the “Supercharged” badge Shocked

The original SE badge is firmly in place Thumbs Up

I personally think having at TDV8 badge on the back of your RRS gives you more respect than a supercharged now Thumbs Up
