I have tried to keep it on my drive but NEED to downsize and take a big pill on the negative equity !

Seeing as you can pick up new TDv8s for £45k (and sometime less!) at the moment, be prepared for an even bigger loss of value hit than you were expecting

How come you are only getting 19mpg out of it? Mine is averaging 29.6mpg (on the trip computer) in mixed motoring over 2 tankfulls/600 miles at the moment and that is despite having the heater running flatout and the FBH burning extra fuel on the cold mornings of the last 3 days. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I got rid of mine end of last year and had problems finding a dealer to take it off me. Be prepared to take a sizeable hit.  Current: I can't say...Oh the Shame!

Great idea. Who will pay the import taxes !! If memory serves me right - they are quite hefty. My neighbour sold his in Dec 08 for £31k. Be prepared for a big hit or take the chance and keep it for another year!!
