my 2008 rrs fuel door pin lock is not coming out enough to lock the fuel flap
is there a fix for this is or is a more serious surgery required

If is moving the end has probably broken off

If it’s not moving, could be motor.

I had a similar problem on mine where I couldn’t actually open the ful flap at all. The local indy LR garage reckoned it was a common problem and a small amount of grease quickly resolved the issue. I seem to remember that it wasn’t too expensive to get it replaced if required.
