Well although I have no connection I have had nothing but excellent experiences with JE over a number of years. On seeing this I called them, got straight through to the MD and made him aware that clearly they had had some comms problems and queries that had gone unanswered.

Surely everyone is allowed another chance. I don't think they deserve these comments that have been put on this thread.

I think CV is from JE and it was his comments that we replied too - If he's from JE they need a new director of PR! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

The implication that they weren't interested in customers as Zulu and the FFRR brake systems were the be all and end all. TBH I don't give a toss, I'm never likely to have used them, but I would and have suggested to people that they were a good company - I wouldn't based on this experience. I don't recognise the name and drilling back through about 3 pages (before I got bored) of his previous posts didn't really enlighten me other than he clearly has had disagreements regarding commercial posts in the past so seem to go to inordinate lengths to avoid being seen to drum up business for whomever he does have a connection with. If he does have a connection and has been specifically prevented from representing that Co then it seems double standards (however unwise his response to this issue) to treat him as a Co representative - perhaps if he wants to post solely as an individual then removing his current forum id and having him create an untainted one would be better??? Sorry VA but it wasn't clear you were commenting about CV's reply, and I'm not sure that alters or justifies the tone of some of the follow on posts TBH. Remember JE staff have wifes/husbands/children/mortgages too and I for one wouldn't feel I had contributed to any companies downfall in the current climate or at any time, especially when they do not have a track record of poor product or service. As Josh says they perhaps deserve another go, this doesn't square with my previous experience of them at all and I'm willing to bet technical problems (email) and human issues (you know, like us?) explain the (short) sequence of actual comm failures reported..... I'm MUCH more interested in how they have made my LRs go faster, stop faster and handle better than std and in this they have always excelled in my experience. So have a go at CV - but try not to harm the staff at JE in uncontrolled collateral damage.... this isn't a game. Simonsi - I take your words on board and have nothing against JE employees - however there are issues with JE which I am not at liberty to publish here and I especially have issues with CV who is a pain in the backside! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Thanks - see my comments to Jay above, maybe this thread needs some heavy editing/locking/removal. Maybe a response from JE might be appreciated here by those needing to see them? As sponsors they could perhaps clarify CV's role to prevent further damage? |
