Guys as this event draws closer, we may need to setup another thread for the northern members who are going to meet us in the midlands and travel to the final destination, we will also need final numbers for the proposed dinner at the end of the meet in the evening, which will be held in Cov i believe?

James, do you want to sort out the south, as i know you've already started to do, and me and TB will sort out the north and liase with you about numbers and timings etc...

Nice one, looking forward to this.. should be a good day.. I will even try and bring along the rrsport or D3 instead of some German/other random brand like i usually tend to do!

Good idea Kam, and perhaps a locked thread for info only as opposed to general chat. I have been offered the same G4 RRS or a G4 FL2 to bring to the event, and am awaiting some final details from my contact at Gaydon. By early next week I should be able to post timings, parking details, entry costs (to the museum) and passes etc. After that, then I think that Kam should manage the North meet and the dinner and I will look after the South meet and Gaydon.

FYI everyone, we need to aim to be at Gaydon for 11:30 and away by 3pm, therefore we need to work the departure times back from this and the arrival time at Kam's dinner off the back of this. To give you an early heads-up, anyone meeting at CHPR is invited to arrive at the dealership at 9:30ish, have a coffee etc and aim to be away by 10:15 at the very very latest.

This is being talked about on the other forums and I feel that (subject to availability) it would be nice to involve at least the FL2 and FFRR guys. I think by adding D3 it could restrict overall numbers as there would probably be a bigger take-up than we could manage.

With each event we are increasing the numbers, so perhaps the next event (summer 2009?) could involve all 5 forums and a BBQ or two?

Will post more info once Gaydon has been bolted down!

When you start the sign-ups for the north can you put the option buttons as "By Ecky Thump ar'll be there lad" and "Nay Nay there's nowt 'appenin'" please?
