Was this a new or 2nd hand car? If 2nd hand and bought from a dealer you would have a good case to return the car as they kept it for 4 weeks. Speak to the dealer principle about this. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Yeah... as much as it's inconvenient, is the dealer not sorting it out for you?

You might want to speak to the contract hire company as it's also their problem. If this is a recurring problem make a huge fuss to LR and insist on a replacement, but you must give LR a fair crack at fixing this, 3 times would be fair in my book. Always go to the top at LR I find it speeds things up a bit. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Most of the time yes - as with all marques it depends who you deal with. Some good, some bad

Mike - PM me if you have any problems with your contract hire company. I have loads of good contacts in the contract hire/leasing companies and I have a good working relationship with Land Rovers.

Even if your local dealer didn't sell it to you they should be keen to address it as i believe they get paid for the warranty work anyway. I first bought from London but had no issue with all warranty work at my local dealer...

Anything that isn't a disposable item such as wipers/brake pads etc are almost always on back order. Tell the dealer to make sure LR lift one off the production line. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
