United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black
RRS set of rubber mats

I have a RRS HSE Black edition on order and paid £105.00 for premium carpet mats as an add on

Would it be an idea to buy a set of rubber mats front and back? if so who should i buy them from, an approved LR dealer or the RRS accessory site or anyone else ?

Also popped down to Stratstone in Mayfair, London at lunchtime and saw the new LR being test driven, abs beauty, the daytime running lights looked good and the whole inside looked amazing. Also the electronic boot happens in two stages the top comes up and then the second seat part

Yes, I think rubber mats are well worth it through the winter months Thumbs Up

Firstly, I would try and get a set in there from the dealer for free - I certainly didn't pay for my carpet mats Wink

As it's a new car, for the sake of a couple of £'s I'd just get the supplying dealer to stick an additional set of rubber mats in the boot for you and you settle with the parts dept etc. Failing that you could try Dan at Duckworths (site sponsor) who might do you a good deal on a set and will send with free postage if you mention rrsport.co.uk.

I'm not a million miles from Mayfair, I will have to pop down there one lunchtime. Cool ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

I got my dealer to supply a nice rubber fitted mat to the boot FOC Very Happy, ideal in my opinion.

My Red Edition came with Premium 'Red' Embroidered mats and i have to say they are Censored !

They are already starting to wear where the heel of my shoe rests and i've only done 7k Crying or Very sad Owner of MY13 RRS Red Edition, Santorini Black, Ebony with Lunar, Privacy Glass & Exterior Design Pack

I have LR rubber mats in mine plus rubber boot mat. They're in all year round though. Can't see the point of carpet mats... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Personally, I think have both, the carpet ones do look nice throughout the dryer months and are easy to maintain with a quick vacuum.
I then stick the rubber ones in when the weather turns as they have a lip that catches water once the snow has melted etc.
As said above, you never know, by cancelling them from your order, you may be able to get them thrown back in anyway Wink ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

for those buying mats

iirc old shaped RRS mats dont fit newer shaped footwells as they risk jamming the loud peddle
