I was just wondering if there was some way of running a garmin or similar through the dash screen. I need uptodate maps for my travels and the land Rver maps even the latest ones are pathetic for Northern and Southern Ireland. With the Garmin I can use updated software at the fraction of the cost?

I use a TomTom in my RRS. I've never had a problem picking up a signal. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

do you have it linked into the dash screen? this is what I would like to do same as I have with the TV and touch screen for the Ipod..

No, sorry I miss understood your first post. I don't have a sat nav screen in my RRS, so the sat nav unit fits in the facia recess.

I don't think you can run the Garmin through the onboard sat nav screen though. The Garmin software would not be compatible with the onboard system. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE.
