It makes sense I guess as it must be a drain on the battery.... never tried it - but to be honest rarely used the heated seats |

same on mine, no heated seats with out engine as MAW says it makes sense |

It'd drain your battery in no time. 10forcash (on D3) does a set up to give you remote seat heater and windscreen for those frosty mornings! Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate |

My A4 with a significantly smaller battery could do two heated seats, radio and interior light for three hours with no problem. If the RRS can't they should check the battery management.

Didn't BMW own Rover when they launched the 75? So that would make it a German motor.
