well, consider that a battery life is about 2-4 years...maybe it is time to change it....Also, the cold weather might have an impact on a weak battery Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6

I would say it's time for a new battery - not sure if this is covered by warranty if under 3 years old. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Yep ours is the same. the Sport is my wifes who is 8 months pregnant so it now only gets driven occasionally, on the cold mornings even after heating the diesel it will turn over about 5-6 times before starting and starts on all cylinders so its not a dodgy glow plug. new battery time. TBH I sometimes think getting your own battery is better as the factory items are not always the best quality.

if its in warranty you should get a new battery from your main agent - I did and I also know several others that have also done so

It was warranty item. At least mine was replaced as the lower power in the mornings (after a cold night) was causing HDC faults etc. 2022 P440e AB

My last RRS had 2 replacements under warranty - if the warranty covers it you may as well have dealer provide and fit rather than shelling out your own £.

Concerning thing is my new 58 RRS has struggled a few mornings this week and it still hasn't dropped below freezing yet...

Confused

Just a thought... are you guys heating it in the morning.. ie turning on the ignition until the lights on the dash come on letting it sit there until the yellow "pig tail" light goes out then starting it..

the glow plugs and diesel in the pre combustion chamber needs to be heated before starting when it is cold or it has been a cold night... this will "kill" a good battert but also damage the glowplugs over time too...

heating is usually only 10 seconds and only on the first start of the day.

I just replaced mine with one of these beasts, 2250 amps, compared to the stock 500amps (i think) Talk about power, this bad boy can power my home for a week.

Doubt it, its only 102Ah so only slightly bigger than the 95Ah stock batt.... If it can produce 2250A then thats great...if you need to pull 2250A, which in theory it could do for all of 2.7 minutes, which of course it couldn't as all your stock car cables would melt and/or fuses would blow. Cheers

Poland 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Rimini Red

before I bought mine it was held at a showroom for few months. When I finally got the car after about a month I have noticed that hte car goes into a low power mode or it switches off the HDC mode and DSC and few other strange things. So I checked the battery and the cells were half empty. I filled the battery with the battery liquid (I do not know the english name, but you easily get it at a petrol station) a bit more than 3/4 litre and the problem dissapeard. worked for me and I didn't need to replace the battery. My name: Patryk
