Belgium 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey
PTI

Hi everyone!
I am a new member from belgium,
We have ordered our range rover sport 6 months ago, and within the next week he will FINALLY be here. The past 6 months i ve seen all the pictures from the range rover sport on the internet. Very Happy He isnt here yet, and i am already in love with it Cool Its such a nice car, i cant wait until its here.

I have a question about the pti (personal telephone integration)- option for the RRS. I dont get how it works, is it possible to connect the cellphone with the car (bluetooth) and use your adressbook? Beause i red somewhere hat it was NOT possible to use your adressbook???

Does somebody has the pti-option, and can the owner tell me what is possible and whats not?

Thank you Question

Hi Stekkev,

Congratulations on your new toy! I know how you feel waiting for it to arrive very soon!

The PTI as it stands gives you the ability to connect your cell phone to the car over Bluetooth and to listen to calls via the car's loudspeaker system so you don't need to use a separate handsfree kit. It is true that the connecting your phone via Bluetooth does NOT provide address book synchronisation. The only way you can get that is to purchase the optional phone cradle and these are model-specific. LR publish a list of approved phones for connection to the PTI system and you can see that here:

http://www.landrover.com/assets/gb/en/Vehi...edures.pdf

It doesn't seem to be the most reliable of systems and there are a few bugs dependent on which cell phone you have. LR suggest the phone that is the most compatible is the Nokia 6230. Note that the 6230i is not officially supported, even though there are people successfully using it to some extent.

Hope this helps! Very Happy
