I am looking for a set of 19" rims for my new RRS TDV8, which I am getting in December. It is coming on 20" rims with summer tires, and in Switzerland for sure I need winter rims and tires. I can't find any on Ebay at the moment, so I am trying here as well.

As you live in Switzerland your car should come already fitted with M/S tyres, as mine, fitted with Pirelli Scorpion M/S, so need need to buy unless it's just personal preference for the winter season. Speed Limits! not where I live!

I asked the dealer, and he said it would come on summer tires, and that he would give me an offer for a) 4 x winter tires - 275/40 R20, or b) 4 x winter tires - 255/50 R19 on 4 x 19" rims. Is he selling me something I don't need?

Thats shocking, your car should come with M/S tyres, have a look around the showroom at any new vehicles in there, it's hard to see but the M/S stamp will be on the tyre wall somewhere, usualy near the manufactures name. Speed Limits! not where I live!

Oh yes. He wants over CHF3'500 for 4 19" rims and wintertires. And, it wouldn't be the Pirellis I want. So, I am doing this on my own, and if I can't get rims anytime soon, I'll just get the winter tires for the 20" rims already on the RRS. Of course I won't have the opportunity of getting chains, but will just have to not go those places. Sucks!

I have 19's and tyres possibly for sale but I am nowhere near you

Thanks for the offer, but I can't even find a freight forwarder that will pick up four boxes, and deliver them in Switzerland, for less than £1000.

Anyone else?
