United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Brake Pad Replacement

Hi Guys,
my RRS as just been in for 2nd service will report backand let you know the costs after I've picked it up. Have been told that it will need a new set of pads on all four corners soon, (07 Bremo brakes)can anybody advise on the cost from approved dealers and possibly recomend anyone in the Chesire/Manchester area.
Forum seems to indicate that £225 is a possibility ???????
Thanks RRS HSE, Java Black,Black Leather

Brembo frt pads are £100, rears are about £50 so its £150 in parts. Really easy to change, look on Disco3.co.uk. Should take a non-professional with a trolley jack about an hour to do the car...maybe a little more.

User 10forcash on Disco3 can usually give a competetive price... Cheers

I got mine from LR Garage - just the parts - for £170, including 2 sensors and a 10% discount - and had my local ATS fit them for £80 - total £250
Thumbs Up

Had the brake pad warning light come on? If not then the sensors can be re-used.

There are always a few sets of pads on eBay and I see there is a set of Mintex on now at £60 or so with postage, anyone have any experience with Mintex these days??? Cheers

No the sensor light had not come on, I just had them changed anyway - I think they were about £12 each - was best to I thought anyway.......they are fine now.....i might get some brembo black stick on's to the originals to make them look a bit shinier as the old ones look very dirty and grey...

just remember to give the wheels a really good alloy wheel seal before your new pads go on

I didn't and now they are covered in burnt on brake dust, that wouldn't move with all my valeting kit, going to have to find something stronger that Auto Glym Wheel cleaner and P21s Big Cry

Since LR did my brakes do you think they do it for me Rolling Eyes
