Depends where you go Nick. LR main dealers will charge about £120 per hour for work but authorised dealers charge a lot less, my local authorised dealer charges £60 per hour so my 2nd Service was about £350.00 and any muppet can change the pads so l got a cheaper mechanic to do these at the cost of about £170.00 all inclusive. Nick does that include the Rotors.. i was quoted comparable numbers in OZ originally for Pads and rotors on a 19K (Kilometres) service .. they ended up doing it for the equivalent of approx 280 Pound 3 months later, assume the rotors did not require changing after all. Where would you find a garage to do approved works to LR standards at a cheaper rate of £60 an hour?? I had my bentley serviced and that only cost £850 - £600 seems a tad overpriced for a V6 LR.....anyone know of anywhere in London/Surrey that could do a good job for the £350 mark mentioned earlier?

The garage does not have to be LR approved to keep the cars warranty, just make sure you source the parts from LR your self and get a local garage to fit them.
