hi folks, I hope someone may be able to help me out and advise me on what brakes I have on my rangey, I've took a couple of shots, I'm not sure if they are original or what the pot sizes are. First pic is of the rear, second the front, apologies for the pics it's really dull here today and it was a bit difficult lighting the shots up.

you have the TRW rear and brembo front by the looks of it, which is standard. looks like they've both been cleaned up/repainted. Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.

Thanks for the reply Tanloverluke, I have been trying to work out what I have but I find fronts that look like that that are 6 pot and 4 pot! And the rears I've found single pot and twin pots. Would I be right in thinking the fronts have 4 pots (2 each side) and the rears have 2 pots (1 each side)?

i'm pretty sure your brembos are 4 pot, the supercharger are 6. as for the rear i'm unsure but i think they're 2 pot. Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.

The 6 pots are a bolt on upgrade, but you need new discs, pads, and backplates. Possibly new flexi pipes too...

Cheers Mikey, shame they won't fit on the rears, is there a 4 pot similar callper that does by any chance? I've seen the 4 pot brembos that are like two and a half grand, just wondering if there were similar ones land rover have done! |

The B6 Armoured D3/RRS list a "Brembo" type caliper for the back end.

Can removing a wheel throw out all your air suspension levels? I followed the manual for wheel changing, but afterwards the front seems lower in off road and road levels, looks normal in load height, they did come up all at the same speed before but now the front end seem sluggish and doesn't seem to be as high as before. 2007 RRS 2.7 HSE - Java Black |
