From what i have seen myself, the 3.0d BMW engine is much quicker than the TDV6, although IMHO the LR unit is much more refined.

Yep, the TDV8 is a world away from the TDV6.

X5 is a great car with a nice engine, but the TDV8 is a superb car. When I was buying my new car last year I also tried first X5 3.0d and almost bought it then I tried TDV6 and I liked it more but the engine was a bit "lazy" for such a heavy car. But TDV8 engine is a different story with a great sound and torque...so the answer is obvious 2008 RRS TDV8 HSE, Java black, Alpaca,..... |

PTI (telephone prep) is standard on the TDV8, as it's standard on the HSE and you can only get the TDV8 in HSE or HST form Side steps and privacy glass are options however.

Yes but for 30 mins tops with a salesman Which is just not good enough in my opinion Especially when I can have a Q7 for a whole weekend My circumstances are that I have never driven an SUV and as such blowing a whole heap of cash on such a radically different machine (for us) actually is a big deal If Audi can give me 48h then I expect LR to make more of an effort than 30 mins The salesman locally tells me I will find all I need to know in this time He may be right but Id like to make sure I suppose he must be selling lots and doesnt need to make the effort to cultivate a sale from me Which is out of odds with the market in general Especially when second hand prices have bombed.......... Ho hum |
