TDV8 Wanted in Black or Silver for P/ex with my Audi A5

Wanted TDV8 HSE Black or Silver with black leather in p/ex with my fully loaded 2007 Audi A5 Quattro 3.0 tdi.

Tried perrys who have nice TDV8 in silver 2008 mod, but was told because of recession audi have stopped buying cars, so they cant do me a deal unless I sell car privately....Thought I would try p/ex route first..

Sounds like we can't get an under write on it and it would be a bit rich for us to try and retail. I'll have a word with our guys and see if there is anything we can do. Perrys For New & Used Range Rover Sports

Got a couple of TDV8's due in shortly and would be happy to take the Audi in....... all depends on what we can get it underwritten at.

Will be making contact with you shortly. We have a Java/Ebony TDV8 HSE 07/07 with Hybrid TV, Sunroof and steps (from memory) due in by the end of the week with approximately 20,000 miles.

Hopefully this will fit the bill. We will be able to underwrite the A5, just may take a little while.

I spoke to my guys today and they told me that they did make an offer on your car, it may not have been what your looking for, but it was a genuine offer.

They told me Audi had stopped buying from 1 month ago and so couldn't get the car under written and that the only offer available from Perrys would be £5000 below book which was agreed to be well below what my car is worth and was advised to sell my car privatley...

I should of said "they can't do a fair deal unless i sell my car privately"

Sorry for the confusion..

The book value of your car is £25k, we would take in as part exchange at £21k (£4k under book) and retail it ourselves.

The book is all over the place at the moment, we are seeing massive monthly falls which I think is an attempt for the book to actually catch up with the market place. The only people who are likely to give you any where near book for your car is an Audi dealer and only if they had a good margin in the car they are selling.

I just want to be very clear about this as I was concerned by your original comments that we had declined to buy your car, we should only do this if there is a very good reason. My investigations are that we did our best to do a deal and offered a fair price for the part exchange car. Perrys For New & Used Range Rover Sports
