Fairly common problem and a soft reset will often sort the problem out. If the problem persists it is a visit to your dealer will be needed as cause can be a number of things. Not something to worry about. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Basically what you did. Using the key fob lock the car, unlock it, lock it, unlock it = soft reset. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
