Using Regular Gas any lasting effects

Hi Guys,

Thanks to IKE the wife tells me that there is a shortage of Premium (Gas) Petrol at stations here in Houston, so whilst I was away this week the RRS got fueled up with regular. Apart from performance and consumption issues can i get away with it for a while.

Cheers,

Adi... Brit across the Pond Wink

It's perfectly fine Adrian...the system adjusts automatically and changes the timing to adjust to the different octane levels.

It's true...there are some stations short on 91/93 octane, but it's a general shortage for the whole southeast...so expect to run low to mid octane for a while...all you will feel is a slightly less responsive acceleration and mileage might drop a bit...other than that, no permanent or negative impacts. PJPR
