2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

Front Grille / side vents on Bonatti grey

Hope you don't mind dubsac / toodeep (used your gallery photos) ... but whilst I'm making up my mind on whether to upgrade to the SC side vents and front grille fro my hse thought I'd put two pics side by side to see how it would look. Might be useful to compare for other bonatti grey owners... light is not perfect...

I say go for them. I think the chrome sets the surrounding colour off very well!

That's the spec I've ordered, though without the tint and alloys. Dealer said I'd need to keep originals and pay full price for stormer alloys. Was this the case with you ?.

Think You'll find that will be the case. I swapped the original 19" wheels for the 20" S/c wheels. I'd bought the wheels on e-bay much cheaper than getting direct from the dealer. When I picked up the car had them switch the wheels over & told them I wanted the 19" ones back. Dealer said "no problem at all we've got loads of them round the back they're no use to us at all, people switch wheels, & leave us with the ones they took off." HSE TD6 (Java Black/Ivory)

Same as Rob_J, got mine outside of LandRover who said they actually could ** not ** get them for my HSE. I paid a cheaper price elsewhere, got them in time for delivery and had LR fit them ....and then sold my 19" on eBay. I was particular in the fact I wanted LR OEM SC Stormers, not replicas.

It is beyond me why LR list them as an option when it seems some dealers can get the and others can't.

Regards the SC grille and side vents, it is a different matter, my LR dealer has offered to spray paint the exisiting HSE grille/Side vents as per the SC grille/side vent spec, as it would be cheaper and I am not left with unwanted HSE versions... but am waiting for a price. I didn't realise at time of order I could have specced them to be fitted post factory delivery, at the LR dealership...in which case I would have done... see my other posts on the badges...

It's funny, but as Shmoogle said in a previous post, I thought I'd be the last person to "customise" a car... but the SC options such as SC FE Stormers, black badges throughout, silver grille side vents and exhausts just make it a significantly better looking car in my opinion... I know it does'nt bother a lot of people... but having spent near on 50k on a car+insurance I want it looking how I want it , ... if I ever order a new car again, I will be much more pernickety when choosing the spec... ...must be mad...had half a mind to say to them, well I'll give you £400 a set if they are that much trouble...then resell them myself. Had absolutely no problem selling my 19" wheels. HSE TD6 (Java Black/Ivory)
