I installed my Origin B2 in one of the cup holder holes in the centre console. In my opinion it looks good there and you can hide it under the sliding cover when you leave the car. I already have a parrot kit installed where your B2 is and I didn’t want my dash to look like a Halfords add-on nightmare so the cup holder seemed a good compromise. I still think the B2 is all round the best speed camera solution available. I bought a Road Angel Adventurer 7000 and to be blunt, it was utter horse sh*t! I’m sticking with my B2 until someone gives me a better reason to change. Some new devices have on the fly updates via Bluetooth on your mobile but I’ve yet to be convinced by their reliability. The only functional benefit the new Origin gives you is the idea I gave them, and I’ve yet to see my cheque in the post for it! I said it would be a good idea to tell you what your actual average speed through a SPECS zone was, so if you had to slow down you would know incrementally how much you could then speed up. Origin said “Great Idea” and put it in their latest system, which for the benefit of having a colour screen now seems to be twice as thick as the B2??? |

I like the cupholder idea but i actually use it constantly and would hate to lose one. My B2 been lying around since i pulled it out the last car. Not had a chance to put it in the range. |

Here's a few pics of my install. The button behind the B2 dock is the input selector for my video in motion unit.
