I spoke to John earlier today, very helpful, the unit physically plugs in between the ECU and the injection system. It remains in place and can be removed for warranty work etc.

These are VERY easy to install. You un plug the wiring harness from the injection system, plug the unit into the injection system and then the wiring harness into the unit so the unit sits between the injection system and the harness. Then there are 2 small power leads for the unit, you need to attach the red to the live terminal on the battery and the black to the negative terminal. Done (as Gordon Ramsey would say). We then zip tie the unit somewhere so it is out of the way, just make sure it is not zip tied to something that will get hot! We also zip tie up the power leads to make them neat. www.designerwheels.co.uk

Bex, it is a common rail pressure box, similar to the Tunit unit. www.designerwheels.co.uk

If you are looking for more power we have a new product on offer. We are a dealer for Chipped UK and they have a new 3 map product called the ST3. It allows you to switch between the standard and 2 modified maps ECU maps by uploading which ever one you want. I will do a full post with proper details later. www.designerwheels.co.uk
