Anyone know what is going on with the rear badge on the TDV8?

Notice some new vehicles with the TDV8 badge only and others with HSE...both same spec/year?? Range Rover Sport TDV8 OVERFINCH ECU remap/tuned, 22" Satin Black Tigers, Black/Black, sideskirts, tints, clear ind, 09 upgrades +++

My car is a 2008 model TdV8 it is badged HSE under the SPORT badge.Would I be a total Censored if I was to remove the HSE and add a TDV8 badge?
I am dropping the car back of Stratstones on Tuesday for a couple of days to have some clear indicator repeaters done and a seat side repair and was thinking of asking them to do the badge at the same time.
What do y'all think?

Just a quick clarification..............

2008my have HSE badges, 2008.5my and 2009my have TDV8 badges instead, however the HST doesn't have either but the dealer should fit an HST badge when the vehicle is prepared for delivery.

You can order TDV8 badges from your local dealer, however when I last ordered one it was on 'back order' and took a few weeks to come through.

James Thumbs Up

I changed my HSE badging for the TDv8 badge, looks nicer and anyway all TDv8's are HSE's unless they are HST's and you don't need a badge to let you know it's an HST............................... It's dead easy to take off the old badging and stick on the new one - all you need is you wife/girlfriend's hairdrier to soften the glue on the old one and then use it again to warm the area of the tailgate where you are going to stick the new one so the glue hardens better. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
