2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
I've bought another new toy

One of the things I had on my "to do" list while I was in the south was to make my annual visit to the windsurfing "mecca" at Calshott Spit on Southampton Water to try the latest windsurfing gear and spend a few quid on replacement gear. While I was there the shop owner persuaded me to try out a new piece of kit that he is selling that is aimed for use on the hot sunny windless days that we (don't) seem to get in these days of global warming.
It was great fun even though there was a bit too much wind, it's a sort of cross between a surfboard/windsurfer and canoe and now I have one to join the 4 windsurfers, 11 sails, 5 masts, 4 booms, assorted RRS and Defender wheels and tyres that currently clutters up my tiny garage!

You can watch a video of it in action here http://www.naishsurfing.com/en/products/stand-up.html click on the picture with the title "watch the designer........" button at the top right of the page. All I need now is the sunshine and warm breeze instead of the torrents of rain that are presently falling up here............... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

It was nice, even on a dull and damp Monday, to come off the water (or even fall into it) and not feel frozen through afterward like happens up here - why else would we have developed porridge to start the day with! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

My RRS has been my 'baby' for quite a while now, but there is a new baby on the horizon. I test drove an Audi R8 yesterday it is absolutley Censored ing awesome Razz

If I can just convince her indoors to shift her Alfa Spyder out of the garage there just might be room for my new toy.

I highly recommend a test drive, better than sex Shocked , well may be. Chawton White TDV6 HSE with Alpaca and Rodium, Automatic Climate Control,

Shmoogle I guess you may be right, but the R8 does have super car looks if not quite super car performance. This weekend I am going to drive an Aston V8 Vantage, I am told these are the dogs whatsits so being a bit of a car groupie I will be ranting on about that next week Laughing Chawton White TDV6 HSE with Alpaca and Rodium, Automatic Climate Control,

Si, it isn't something you want to try after an afternoon in the pub, although I was able to stand up and paddle the test board after only 20 minutes of a lesson, but it is easy to kneel on it and paddle too. Going along with the wind behind was not so easy as I'm not used to moving at the same speed as the wind/waves and then it was very tippy. I did fall off once but it was much easier to scramble back onto than my windsurfers as I didn't have any harness on that I had to take care not to dig into the decking with the SUP 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
