No it's a amateur radio HF antenna.

Hi Mike, welcome to the board.

Where have you managed to stash the rig ? Under drivers seat is Sat DVD, under passenger seat is ECU.

I presume it's a seperate display and rig. My wife won't let me put one in my car, so I'm stuck with a 70cms handheld.

Thank you! I actually have the rig mounted under the front passenger seat and the remote face is mounted right above the rear view mirror. It sits perfect and has no obstruction at all to the electronics. I know, the RRS has a pretty limited space and I didn't to install something that would be out of place Smile I will post some pic for you next time. Anyway, 73 and cheers!

I would love to see the remote face install, I have a two way radio for work purposes that has been redundant since buying the sport and have thought this would be the only place to put it but have not been brave enough to make the move. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

Hi Mike,

I've been away on business so I didn't get chance to reply.

I have echolink setup on this laptop, maybe sometime we could arrange a sked ?

Rob

Hi Rob,

Great! let me know when is the best time to login. My call is KG6WPJ. You can also see my RRS on www.qrz.com. What is your call sign Rob? The best time for me to try echolink would be around 8 PM Los Angeles time.
