United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue
Had it over a year now

Ive had my 2.7 Buckingham Blue Sport since March 2007 (only options were 20", sound system and rear entertainment, chrome thingys on the mirrors and side steps), I found this site really usefull in finding out before I bought any issues with the car.

Since the purchase Ive done 40,000miles. Only problems to date were a noise from the tailgate (fixed by dealer) and a puncture at high speed, and hardly noticed anything was very undramatic. Tyre life was 30,000 on a set of continentals, which are impossible to get in Cornwall so have Michelins on now and wear is looking good. The alloys are very vulnerable to scrapes though, and the fridge is just too small for noral sized bottles.

Car has performed faultlessly, most driving is on dual carriageways and mpg is now fairly static at 28mpg..and I dont hang about. The car has been loads of places, in Europe and even a bit of off roading when I took it up a mountain on the Isle of Harris in Scotland

Dealer service has been excellent...Riders of Truro

As soon as my divorce goes through then its a V8 Turbo..........

Big thanks to everyone that contributes to the site without your posts Id have bought something else and wouldnt have been as pleased

....little tip you may or may not know, turn the lid of the fridge upside down and as it gains you some space and you can fit a standard 500ml drinks bottle in there!

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

It's great to hear your positive thoughts on the RRS Ronnie. As Shmoogle says it makes a refreshing change from a lot of the posts from other members.

One concern from me though . . . Only three posts in over twelve months. Where have you been and more importantly what have you been upto? Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

I havent made that many posts and have been away from the site as Ive been out enjoying life and the car.

I discovered photography and radio control helicopters and was busy working.

Im glad you guys agree with me on the car, I think overall the majority are really pleased and as I say the input from all of you helped me make the decision to buy the car and for that Im really thankfull

All the best to you all

Ronnie

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Just wait till you get the TDV8 Bow down Bow down Bow down Bow down Bow down Bow down Bow down .

This post reminds me of the recent land rover survey i kept getting bugged to fill in via the post. (its actually filled out now but sitting in the car somewhere waiting for me to remember to post it Laughing )

It had a question 'please state how much you agree or dissagree with the following statements' and one of them was:

I love this car.

Seriously, it amazed me they asked such a technical question Laughing
