Help with tire decision

I have an opportunity to purchase a set of Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico's with wheels for $750 OBO. The tires have 800 miles on them and as such are "new".

My concern is their ability in the snow, I live in the Lake Tahoe area and travel to the SF Bay Area a couple times each month.

Any experience with these tires, I sure would appreciate the feedback Smile

Hi Davis ,

Welcome aboard!

The pirellis are much better in ice and snow than the conti sportcontact.

They are also a much higher wear rating (420 i think) than the conti's (240 ish??) and should give 30k miles easily if rotated ( mine did with 3+mm left.

The pirelli tread doesnt clog easily in snow , I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Good luck,

Tires? If you get stuck, call AAA! I heard you know someone that works there.. hahaha

Great tires, do you have an HSE or a SC?
