IT HAS ARRIVED!!

Well I thought I let all you good forum people know, that my wife(!), collected our new RRS from CHPR today.

It's excellent to drive so my good lady tells me..

A extremely large thanks to both Ilija and espeically James for great service and a fantastic deal..

I am planning to drive Green Lanes of Cumbria and over the B roads to Scotland on Wednesday..

Which Lanes are you planning on driving. The reason I ask is that the RRS on the standard Continentals is rubbish in mud and wet grass turns the car into Bambi on ice. There simply aren't any teeth on those tyres at all. And also be aware that the front skirts are very low on the RRS, but can be removed. The standard set up on raised suspension works great on the stoney lanes of the Lakes (like Iron Keld and Hodge Close) but I would avoid the "greener or browner" lanes further South.
