Professional is not even close, the guy is paint obsessed. He has a little gadget that tells him the thickness of your paint in microns, and when he does a paint correction he gets the whole car within X number of microns all over. It is unbelievable!

England 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

This is the guy that I use, comes round once a year & does all 3 cars.

http://www.elitedetailing.co.uk/cgi-bin/cm...lowlimit=0

The guy is good, very good. To do all 3 cars took him 6 full days. The RRS taking 3 of those! This was with colour correction, to remove the small scatches & full zymol treatment. He will travel, so his location is no major problem.

This was the Porsche http://www.elitedetailing.co.uk/content/porsche_996gt3_red.htm

all detailer's that carry out paint correction process should use these paint measurement gauges John mentioned as without these a detailer could easy burn through the clear coat or not leave enough clear which could result in clear coat failure. Regards,
Jay

That is one nice Porsche and you have gone for one hell of a colour, not seen one in that red before. The Elite boys did a damn good job on the paint work too.

I have to admit that G who is Elite is a personal friend. He's the only guy in the company, but I've never known anyone work so damn hard. He did swear last time he came round he would not touch a Range Rover ever again because they are so big, but I think he's changed his mind as he bought a RRS a few months back!

John, thanks for the comments on the GT3. I wouldn't normally have gone for a red car, but it just looked so good in the showroom! There is probably about 20-30 in the country in that colour, had 3 of them together at Spa earlier this week. It's got gold BBS wheels on at present which is a real marmite combination. HSE TD6 (Java Black/Ivory)

I've met G from Elite , He is NOT a personal friend but he is a nice guy and does very good work.

I would let him loose on my RRS if I wasnt so obsessive myself.

now where did I put my wax .......

In the pics on the Elite web site the GT3 has standard wheels, have you got any pics of the gold BBS. I am a bit of a wheel nerd so would love to see them on (well it is what I do for a living!!).

John.

NICE!!
I was not sure the red and gold would work, but I really like that. You can't go wrong with the classic DTM style BBS splits. www.designerwheels.co.uk
