This is apparently a characteristic of the car - usually starts within 2 years of new - personally I think this is bull. There is a software update your dealer can do but I found this didn't solve the problem.
Not sure about this one it could simply be a half empty tank of fuel or maybe the weights at the back of your car by the exhaust. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten 2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed. I believe what you are feeling is not a forward motion, but in fact the car levelling itself (air suspension), and the front end is dropping or lifting creating that sensation of being bumped.

could the forward motion sensation be something to do with the car engaging the diff. due to a faulty sensor causing the rear wheels to try and rotate?
