thinking about getting a Nintendo Wii games console for the sports and Wii fit side of it and the odd other game or two

Anybody got one , what they like and wheres best to get them from

Been looking online (eBay) and they have a load that sell for £390'ish thats got a job lot

I paid about £340ish for the one i got for little sis from HMV.

£250 - Games console + guitar Hero 3 (with the guitar) + spongebob + some random game (all wii consoles come with wiisports afaik)
£45ish - Controller + nunchuck
£40ish - Mario Kart Wii with extra official Wii Wheel.

Considering guitar hero 3 is about the same money as Wii Fit id assume you should be paying about the same. I dont know if their still sold out everywhere on the Wii Fit. I know generally Wii's although available are selling quickly when there is a good offer from sumwhere.

Mario kart is what they play pretty much 24/7. Ive played quite a few times and it is awesome! My sister whos 2 years younger never in years of ownership ever touched my xbox or xbox360. Shes on the wii constantly playing mario kart. I havent even hooked it up for online play yet since the console/tv is on the other side of my room and i dont think theyd ever stop playing. Guitar Hero 3 is also quite popular .

Wii Fit and Super Smash Brothers is next on the shopping list. When i stop putting so much diesel into the car .

i always think HMV as more expensive, but might be worth a look

its Mrs NP whose going on about it, and i think the Wii Fit will help with the fitness level as its coming up to snowboarding season and i need to be a little fitter for that too:D
