Hi folks, wondering if anyone else has suffered this: Had to open the door using the key a while ago, by popping out the plastic cover on the driver side door handle.

For some inexplicable reason it fell off yesterday and can I get the back on?! (that's a 'no' by the way)

Read in a previous topic they can be an arse to get back on, but if anyone has had similar issues or done it I'd appreciate a tip before I go and break the thing.

(read the manual btw, says stick in the key and replace, then take out the key... not that that is working obviously) Just Picked up: 2006 RRS S/C, java with Ivory.

Yep, as I said I had read in a previous topic that the same happened and it was a beyatch to replace... just wondered if anyone else had any helpful tips on how to get the thing back on. Its one of those really annoying little things thats too trivial to justify going to the dealers for  Just Picked up: 2006 RRS S/C, java with Ivory.

Hmm... short of taking it to your dealer, Bobby might have the diagrams in his stash of GTR docs - so sit tight and someone may be along with the answer
