Correct - so we have zoned in on less than 0.1% of the world's land mass...

Any ideas where in the UK though. This shot taken at 180 degrees from the fisrt one (above) gives some more (big) clues ...

Shocked

You guys are getting warm, but still no one has got it. It is in The Lake District, but its in a secret place, by a rarely visited lake - everyone drives straight past the lake, without realising the beauties and interests of its "quiet side". Oh and if you live in Manchester, this is what you are drinking (or at least showering in) every day. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

..and Mr Pinks wins the prize (which by the way is a set of brand new FFRR 19" Vogue wheels and tyres for a mere £575 contribution to my costs).

Its Thirlmere, and the picture is of the Tottering Stone. The large boulder sits in a forest, high on the hill, balanced delicately on a rather narrow footing. The forestry has recently been felled and the stone "rediscovered" although no one seems to know its there yet. A great place to visit on a day out as the views are splendid and the place deserted. The walk up to the stone starts at Launchy Gill (on the West side of Thirlmere). Indeed if you are feeling very adventurous indeed (and it hasn't rained for a week or two - pretty rare in The Lakes) a scrambble up the gill is a really exciting (although pretty dangerous) way up the hill. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini
