Had a look and found these:-

ebay link

But these seem to be originals ? Look cheap/bargain?

Personally I think the standard 20" wheels look just as nice, but, if I'd had the choice ( no cost option ) then I probably would have gone for the stormers...... or maybe the split rims from the accessory brochure?

OOOhhhh such decisions. Confused

Yes, i can't tell the difference visually between these and a "real" set of Stormers - but the seller uses the term "replacement" and makes no mention of them being original LR parts or anything like that. I don't see how he could afford to sell a set of Stormers + new tyres for £1500 if they were real (unless they have fallen off the back of a lorry, of course).

I'm undecided about going for these... I certainly didn't want to pay the approx 2.5k from the dealer a set of Stormers would have cost me, but even if these are replicas I don't think they're a bad deal particularly.

Cheers

I asked the seller who told me

"They are replacement alloy wheels as stipulated, however they carry exactly the same Warranty as Land Rover and are also testing to carry a higher Load Rating - I do have a set of originals available shortly which I am open to sensible offers on"

NeilR,

I think you're probably right - I'll contact the seller over the genuine set.

United States 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Buckingham Blue

Guys - all have to make their own decisions clearly, however, on one of my previous cars, a BMW 3-series, i had Mille Miglia replica BMW wheels - they were good quality and 100% identical to the OEM ones. I find it risky buying them on the web without seeing them but i would not discount it either. - Robert

Hi everyone

I found the aftermarket 20" stormer wheels in the LRO magazine.

www.4x4tyres.co.uk

A company called Nene Valley Off Road has a full page advert on page 24 of the January 2006 issue.
My thoughts were if anyone is looking for Stormer wheels you could have some confidence in consulting a company with a premises/shop rather than a back street ebayer Evil or Very Mad .

Just a thought that might help you if you are looking! Supercharged

Nene Valley are one if not the best, they will be good quality if they are selling them.

Well they come across as reputable from their advert. As for the wheels, I have no idea about quality or price. I can't fit 20" wheels to my Discovery Crying or Very sad Supercharged
