Lights in Europe

Hi
I am heading to Europe on Saturday for a 14 day driving holiday. I read the manual on how to adjust the beams and i did this but i have doubts in my mind if i have done this right If i am driving in Europe, should i have moved the leaver down or up?

Thanks

Question

if set for europe then if you shine your lights at a wall the beam on dip will be flat at the top , if set for UK then the beam on dip will go up slightly on the left side.
