United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
My Air Suspension Compressor is shot!

Brand spanker TDV8 bought in December and I get:

"Air Suspension Fault, do not exceed 30mph" !!

I slow down, car gets very bouncy, I pull over. I get out to take a look and it's like I'm driving some Max Powered chav-mobile it's that low!

I was only about a mile from my house so I crawled back, quite literally with the height of the thing. Got back and I was now riding in a hot-rod! The rear was at off-road height and the front was diving down almost scooping up the road!

LR assist appeared, told me my compressor was shot, tow-truck dispatched to come pick up my 'drag-racer'!

A little miffed. Not what I'd expect of a £55K car after less than 6 months.
Am I alone in having this drama? The chap from LR assist said there had been quite a few compressor failures in recent times but thought the problem had been addressed. not in my cases obviously. Local dealership where my car is now, has them on back-order. Says a lot to me.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

There were a few failures in the early days of RRS but I thought they had got over it with a fix. Might be worth asking if any of the Disco3 guys have experienced the same problem recently as they have the same suspension system to us. They are at www.disco3.co.uk 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Turns out it was a sensor.

The LR assistance guy didn't think it was, because he carries those with him and I could have been on my way.

Anyway, at least should be back up and running. Hopefully no more low-rider/hot-rod funny business with the suspension for me!

Was going to say that a few others have reported these issues and it turned out to be a sensor... Very Happy

Let's not forget that a car doesn't get less prone to faults the more you pay for it Wink
