The EPB started screaming like a banshee again this morning, only shuts up if i release it again. That will be the fourth or is it fifth time is has been seen to, twice for the squealing, and about 2-3 times in terms of not fully releasing.

Tim, it has not been off-road since the last service about 6 weeks ago, when the EPB was cleaned, lubricated and whatever they do to it to cure the notorious binding that occurs every time i release it. It had a complete EPB rebuild last year and that still did not totally cure it, only the banshee wail every time i engaged the thing. I think along with the D3's there must be an inherent design problem. Cheers Jim Another Pommie Bar Steward down under MY20 Defender 110 SE P400 Eiger/Ebony MY10 3.0 RRS TDv6 Fuji/Ebony/Anigre |

Well the work was done at ALTO today, full clean and removal of dust build up, realignment, readjusted and SOFTWARE update to help cure it (not sure how it will cure dust build up). Apparently mine was the 3rd they had done that day at that dealer alone, so a common issue i would think.
