New to the board with a few questions ..................

Hi all, my name is Tony, new to the board and unfortunatly not an RRS owner Crying or Very sad

Iv been workin for myself for 7 years now doin this that and everything in between, but im currently in the early stages of catering for the prestiege car market which happens to include the RRS.

Im not advertising anything at this moment (will do when im up and running) but im just trying to gauge all your opinions on exterior bodystyling eg. front and rear bumper add ons - full bumper kits - full wide arch kits .... etc.

Would you think of buying any of the above products if quality, price and looks were all 100% ???

What are your views on kits at the moment and your reasons for / against buying ???

cheers all Thumbs Up

I'm not one for kits. If I was going to change anything it would probably be OEM

Fortunately for me, I'm happy with how my RRS looks Very Happy Current: I can't say...Oh the Shame!

The kits spoil the looks of the car. Far better to get a rare colour such as white and put black wheels on. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

Warranty issues, they tend to look "aftermarket", quality is usually not as good as OEM, but each kit needs to be seen to be judged. You have any pics?

Sorry no pics at the moment, im in the process of gettin the design registered and ironing out the final details, ther will be a website up and running for pre-orders before the kit is off the production line.

I can tell you theres gonna be proper style LED lights incorporated (sort of Audi A5/R8 style), Brand new fresh looking exhaust tips and custom grills for the front, sides and the intakes on the bumper itself.

The whole package is going to be of the highest quality and will complement the RRS like no other kit before it has done.

With all this said i would still really appreciate all views, likes and dislikes on the whole bodykit idea.

Cheers all Thumbs Up

Like a lot of folks here, I think a lot of the available kits are cheap-looking and do nothing to enhance the looks of the RRS. LRs own HST kit is the work of the devil, even though they seem to be selling like hotcakes at the moment Shocked

The only kit I would be seen dead in (if I still had my RRS that is) is the Overfinch Aero kit... although I don't mind the Arden stuff either. Thumbs Up
